Head Studs

My heads are drilled out for 1/2" heads studs but the block is only 7/16", is there a stepped head stud kit or something I could do without drilling the block? Any help is appriciated!

stepdown washers, i think they should cost about $8. a machine shop should be able to hook you up with a set.

Arp makes stepped head bolts. Or edelbrock sells step down washers for $60ish.

I bought some 7/16 arp studs from summit and they didnt come with a extra set of washers. What set did you guys buy that came with them? I believe ford racing and edlebrock call them a head "bushing" kit. That might help in the search.

Did you tell them they are stupid? lol, thats insane. I think summit has them for 50 bucks or somthing, but you builder can probably get them cheaper. Good luck.
