Yes you can put your own hids in them, they just come with normal bulbs. The Corners are 9.99 Ebay corners

The headlights were $131 from autolightsbulbs.com

How good do your headlights match your corners? Any difference in shade? Kinda wondering if the chrome ones wouldn't look too cheap

They match really well to be honest. Personally I'd like to open them up and paint the white lining on the corners and the chrome on the headlights, yes I'd lose my high beams but w/ hid's in the near future I won't need them anyways.

im jealous of your lights thorco

I'm guessing your talking about the current set.

haha, I'll let you know if they're ever for sale. I'm sure somebody still makes them, but I haven't been able to find them.

ford cobra lights with ultra clears from CJ pony parts. no clue on price. the lights have been on the car now for at least 8 years. the side markers are the second set in that time. http://www.cjponyparts.com/diamond-...nd-clear-side-marker-lights-1994-1998/p/PL12/

interesting. i could have sworn that i saw ford badge on them but i guess not. either way though, they've held up for years.

The lights you have pictured are not OEM cobra headlights.

well it should still work i would imagine. they re-use the factory harness so i don't see why it wouldn't work with them.

Det_riot, how good are the rubber pieces on the corners holding up for you?

Well, they held up good until about2 weeks ago, thats when i noticed the passenger side rubber starting to split. I haven't decided yet what i'm going to do about it, i'll probably just get some weather stripping from like advance or autozone

they do look similar though, I had the same set on my old sixxer and they held up pretty well. 8 years is a dang good life span for any headlight regardless.

wow that light output puts my aftermarket cobra headlights + 4300k HIDs to shame! I assume those night shots are showing the light output from the "black version" of the gen2 headlights. Is that correct? If so, I'm sold.

DFG I really like your lights as well. I bet those are the newer version of the ones I have. The internals all look the same but your lens's are completely clear and you have the amber reflector in the turn signal as well.

I still like DFG magic's setup. They have a "stock-ish" appearance with the amber corners & I like the black housing with clear lenses for visibility purposes. But pretty pricey

Does anyone have pics of tinted stock headlights and corners? Mine are perfect and I have a buddy that tints them and tails using clear with a little bit of black, his tails turn out killer, Im just curious on how the fronts migh be and the visibility. I plan HIDs in the near future so I dont think it will be an issue.
