I just replaced my headlight and turn signal housings. I had both battery cables disconnected the whole time and once I got everything wired back up I found that I had a new problem with my car (as if I don't have enough already lol).

Now when I turn on my headlights, turn signals, hazard lights, or brake lights there's a popping noise coming out of the speakers. Its REALLY annoying when the turn signals are on!

I don't know if it would help, but I have a stock 460 system with an aftermarket head unit. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm illiterate when it comes to electric issues lol.

Sounds like the ground issue..I don't have the wiring diagrams on hand right now, but either a common ground for the the lights are feeding from the amp, or radio head ground, or the amp or radio head is feeding from a common light circuit ground. The mach 460 amps power the woofer speakers and the components are powered by the head unit, does all the speakers make this noise or just from woofers, or components??

Over the weekend I went over everything in the car looking for the ground issue. Come to find out, the battery cable on the ground terminal wasn't tight and that's what was causing it. If I would've started there I could've saved myself a couple hours. I guess, when looking for the problem, you always find it in the last place you look lol. Thanks for the help though
