projector headlights on a mustang are gay, and if you own them or want to get them, you are gay and you are a ricer.
um, what part about these, is rice? these look damn nice, and dont have anything unnecessary like halos or LED accent lights.

aren't those custom made though?  Like you don't buy them like that.

I thought the same thing.... I think those are custom retrofits. They look good to me... but the price is UGLY.

they are custom. but thats not the point. people on here are making blanket statements at all projectors are ugly and/or rice. custom or not, theyre still projectors, and they look real nice.

and ugly price? the housings are like $100, and the implanted projectors are like $65/pair. thats really not expensive at all, especially considering, a replacement projector assembly for a mercedes is around $1000 (per side).

I'm talking about if you bought the retro-fitted housings from the guys who build them. I understand the parts dont total that much, but the workmanship is what costs. And personally I dont have the skills, desire or time to do it to fvck around with it either.

if someone is making a profit on retrofitted projectors of 4x the cost of the materials, then you are an idiot for paying that much.

Or maybe my personal time is worth more than that.

A few quick questions.... Where did you get those lights? Ebay? if so link please.... ;)

How did you take them apart exactly? And when they came apart did it look fairly easy to take the projector lens out?

I'm thinking of trying something different with those lights and I'm trying to determine if its a viable idea.

id do that, if i knew if the high beams would work alright in them. id use the high beam HID, and just leave the halogen bulb in there as a dummy.

I have a brand new set of OEM ford GT head lights, and an extra right hand one for later. I threw in those with a set of the clear matching corners (not the ultra clear crap). I love it

You bake them in the oven for a lil while so the glue lets go of the lense.

I think the depo projectors look decent if you paint the inside black and use the smoked lense off a pair of smoked headlights...

I find that hard to believe cause Steve-Oh put smoked lenses over his Depo headlights and they're darker... pretty sure the insides of my smoked headlights are chrome.
