Alright so I would like to get some nice halo headlights but I'm afraid the headlights are too small for the halos to look good, that being said does anyone have any suggestions on some good headlights halo or not?

These are the ones I'm looking at getting: http://www.spyderauto.com/product.p...Mustang-99-04-CCFL-Projector-Headlights-Black

A kid with the same color stang as yours (think its an 02 GT) has those headlights on his. They actually look pretty sick. Most peeps are gonna tell you they look rice or what ever. Honestly tho, if you like them, get em. My motto is its your car, at the end of the day you gotta be happy with it.

Thanks for the input, I just wonder how well the lighting is. I like these because the lens isnt tinted but the background is black so it keeps that blacked out look without affecting the brightness of the light

I am a techno geek and love leds but never liked the look of any of the projectors/halo's made for sn's really. So I went my own way and retrofitted some lights with projectors. They are a smoked lens. I didn't make it any darker its just from making the reflector black/dark.

Figured what the hell if I am in there why not add them, I can always just not turn them on. I went with a 7-color halo though.

Honestly will probably not use them much more then occasionally at a night show, I like the demon eyes better as they are a little more subtle and evil lookin all at once.

I like the halo look but only on certain cars thats why I'm so iffy on it and I cant make up my mind, Ill probably just go with the stock replacement black headlights with the HID's. anyone had any experience with HID's melting these housings or holding up? I'm new to the whole HID thing and I dont know much about them just know they are bright and known to melt some housings

I have 45 watt HID's in both my h/l and fogs for the past 3 years.
I run my fogs all the time and I haven't had any issues with any of the lenses melting. And I drive my car a lot.

That set in your first post really aren't that bad. I generally don't like the halo on Mustangs but love them on BMWs but they are designed into the look of the front of the car where these are not. Add some HID's and you would be fine for light output.

In my link, Prokiller is selling the set for 125 shipped lol.

Otherwise no hids wont melt your stock housing. An aftermerket housing, possibly.

If you want to spend some good $$ and do a retrofit. Yukes is good but HID Retrofit is probably one of the best and some some really unique stuff. My Headlights are E-46 retrofitted with a hidden halo

Meh.... its your car, but I think the halos are stupid and just look ridiculous.

But since you're asking for suggestions, in my opinion, the best headlights for the new edges are the stock black (not smoked) housings, shown here:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/replacement-headlights-9904-pair.html

Then do 5000k HID bulbs.

I got these headlights but for a 98 with 6000k's the light output is great. For some reason, they don't seem to blind anyone as if they have a cutoff of some sort. The light seems to stay low unlike non-projector headlights which throw the light beam all over the place.
