heater warning light

G'day from Ozzie I have a 95 GT (very rare this side of the pond) just after some info on the heat warning
light on the dash that is staying on , any help would be great. With regards Mick

thanks for the reply but no it looked like a cat converter with heat written under it funny thing is i just went out to take pic for you but its fixed itself and gone

I was confused on this as well and wasn't even sure how to respond. Get a pic next time you see it for sure.

Things like that generally don't fix themselves. Maybe it's a warning for a cat overtemp. If that's the case I would pull the exhaust and look things over.

I just bought an innova obd1 scan tool to see if something comes up just have wait for delivery

thankfully no smog inspections yet just a roadworthy check each 12mths

Did some digging for you. In the US market cars, we have a low coolant light in that spot. You need to check your coolant level. If it’s good, the sensor in the overflow tank is failing or has failed. Hope this helps.
