Welcome! very nice car!
Thanks, man. I checked out your build thread and I must say I'm very impressed with your car. That craftsmanship is top notch!

Thank you for your service. Welcome to the family very nice snake. Got any pics of any aircraft you work on. C-17 C130. F15. F16. F22. B1. B2. B52. ?
I work on C-17s. I don't really have any flightline pictures I've taken personally. Sorry.

I've always wondered. But how exactly does the military just let you take your car overseas?

Welcone aboard! I just got back from Germany in December, though it was for vacation. Thanks for serving!
Awesome! What part did you visit?

The military "lets" us take one car per active duty military member if we are going to be serving an overseas tour. I'm going to be stationed here for four years. It makes sense to allow members to bring a vehicle rather than have to buy one immediately upon arrival or sell one immediately prior to departure.

welcome

so my dream cobra is 1000km from my home.
In Poland is now only one cobra 94-95 (red) but in poor condition

your black cobra is definitely unique in Europe now

I was thinking the same thing... Vehicles brought to Germany by soldiers are a great way for us Europeans to get our hands on some nice stuff... A lot of soldiers sell their car before returning to the US because they are worth a lot more here than in the US.

I was all over the place. Berlin, Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg, went to Austria and Poland too. It was awesome. Make sure to get off the base and go do some stuff. Make the most out of staying there!

Yeah. Especially now that a lot of servicemembers are buying brand new 5.0s! I really wanted to buy one myself, but I didn't want to burden my family with a car payment when the Cobra's been paid off for three years.

Thanks for the advice! So far we've made it to France, Italy and Poland. We have three more years left here and will be going many more places!

Nice Cobra bro!
Thanks!

Put it in your calendar: Sunday May 26th is the nicest Mustang Meeting in the Netherlands, expect 100-150 Mustangs (depending on weather), old, young, rare... It's near Rotterdam which is quite a drive for you but we would absolutely LOVE to see your Cobra there!

Consider it on the calendar!

Welcome and thank you for your service!
Thanks!
