I have a 96 GT with the MAC true fit. Part of the tails are connected to the muffler and go over the axle but the car does not have the tailpipes and tips that bolt up to that. I have contacted our sponsor Art but he doesn't think he can get them. Has anyone seen these for sale anywhere? Or do you think I could go to a shop and have them weld up some tails with tips? Any idea on the price a shop would charge? Thanks

So you have the axle over pipe part? Don't all you need then are tips/straight tail pipes? Mac/Bassani/Mangaflow all sell them if thats all you need, then id just get a shop to weld them up since chances are they wont bolt directly up...

Yeah I was hoping to find the mac direct bolt ups but no go. I may just order some regular tails from Art and have them cut and welded. How much do you think a shop would charge? Shouldn't be to much. In the days of bolt up exhaust its been awhile since I went to a shop.

Any decent muffler shop can do that in a jiffy for around a couple hundred I would think. They all carry a pretty good selection of rolled and straight tips.

A shop to install tail pipes shouldnt be more then $100 imo. If they have to add pipe $150+.

+1, I had pipes ( dual ) run on my wifes 00 V6 car with mufflers ( I already had the mufflers ) and it was 140 installed
