Re: HELP,HELP!!!!!!!

Contact Vortech and see what they recommend heat range wise per the psi your running would be my suggestion. Their support staff should have some answers.

Re: HELP,HELP!!!!!!!

if i understan this right, the 103 has a .750 reach and 14mm. while the 764 is a tapered plug .708 reach and 14mm. if u get the 103 and change the seat to tapered can the 103 work?? if i understand this the 763 is 1 step colder than the 764???

I would run as much timing as you can on pump gas. Higher octane fuel should only be used if you are detonating. It burns slower (by design) than lower octane fuel and can hinder performance.

I sometimes put a few gallons of 100 octane unleaded in my tank when I race but only because my car pings like crazy.

Don't run leaded fuel in an EFI car. It's not good for your O2 sensors.

Paul.

Yes you can. Like paul said run as much timing as you can on pump...and then on 110, you can get away with a few more degrees of timing which will take advantage of the increase in octane. As for running leaded gas with O2s....yes it will speed up the "killing" of the O2s BUT it will take ALONG LONG time. The occasional splash of leaded race fuel for a track day hear and there isn't going to do much harm.
