at the end of your existing h or whatever u have there should be 4 bolts u take off. so 4 bolts up front by the headers and 4 bolts where your h pipe ends :)

got to a muffler shop, or get new pipes that go between the Hpipe and the mufflers

where did you get this h pipe? got pics?

i just paid $169 plus shipping for a brand new BBK x pipe from Texas Hot Rod. you may just want to purchase a new one thats easy to bolt up if the muffler shops in your area wont work on them :dunno:

The problem is that its welded at the mufflers...would I be able to cut that and attatch the new pipe..without welding?

your going to have to cut it and have it rewelded... its not that expensive to do. if you know a buddy with a wire feed... or a muffler shop will prob do it for like twenty dollars or something.

if you swell the pipes to fit over the existing pipes. You have a custom exhaust system. to make it bolt on, you will most likly have to replace everything from the header flange back.

if your mufflers are welded to your catted h and u want to replace the catted h with o/r h then your screwed sry to say but what u want done can't be done without some welding involved. If it is at all possible to find someone that has a welder maybe u could ask them if u could use it. U could also tell them that u would give them some money for it too. If u can't get a hold of a welder u won't be able to switch to an o/r h unless u find a muffler shop that will do it for u but that would be hard to do.

how about a pic of what you are working with? you may be abe to cut the old setup off and have the muffler ends swelled out. THen you could slip them over the old pipe and run a new catback from there.
