help me find a short

I have a JVC head unit that keeps going into protect mode, I researched it and it does that when there is a short in the speaker wire.
so my question is about the colors. I have a wiring Harness does anyone know what color goes to what speaker?

yes that would be correct. are you wanting the stock hrns or the jvc one?

What speakers are you running? Check all the connections and you can try disconnecting one speaker at a time to see if it will come back on.

I am wanting the wiring harness that plugs into the factory one that makes it easy to just match up colors with the after market wiring. like the white and the white w/black what speaker thats running to etc. but I will try to disconnect a speaker to see if that works.

well I found the short, when to go unplug the speakers in the rear and i instantly saw the problem. thanks for the help ttocs

You should not be able to see any copper if everything is insulated correctly.
