HELP!!!Something is wrong with my fog light switch

ok so i had my heater core replaced back in march and since then my cigarette lighter and fog lights have not worked. well today i finally have time to fix them. I found out why my cigarette lighter wasnt working...they forgot to plug in a connector in the console. Im in the process of fixing the fogs but im stumped. the connector is plugged in but the switch isnt working...everytime i press it, it just moves back and forth...any ideas would be great...thanks..

did you check the bulbs for the fogs? o.o haha

...the bulbs are there...my switch is missing pieces and that is why its not working...im goin to buy a new switch and try that..
