How the h-e-doublehockeysticks do you adjust the timing on 4v's? Do I have to use a flash tuner? I'm getting on the dyno on Saturday and I want to bump up to a 125 shot :angel4:

My SCT Xcal2 has timing increments for RPM ranges that you can adjust... I believe the ranges are seomthign like 2000~4000RPM and 4000~8000RPM...

you can use a steeda timing adjuster, which i have for sale ;-) (part 555-3410, works on all 1996-04 GTs and Cobras) or you have to go throught the computer (hand held, chip, etc.)

Thats alot of work for somebody that has dyno time schedualed.

75% of people install all cams straight up anyway. its the people who know and care to take the time that will benefit from degreeing the cams. its free hp, and its ALOT of possible power and adjustability with a 4v, even though i hate on them all day, i would love to have that ability with a 2v

I'm not getting it tuned unfortunately, it's an event with a dyno that you sign up for when you get there. 3 runs for $20. My dad has an SF3, can I make changes on my car with his stock tune in it or will that mess things up?

>.< they are all egg shaped... and im very self conscience about my egg head :-(

but are they a symetrical egg shape? (exact duplicate on both the open and close side of the lobe) or are they ... non-symetrical (asymetrical?) meaning different angle for opening the valve and a different angle for closing the vlave?
