Hi Everyone,

I have a SN95 V6 97, that was parked up for a while and I'm slowly going through replacing parts. This pipe has signs of heavy corrosion and I'd like to replace it. I checked Rockauto but can't seem to find it. Does anyone have any tips on where to order, thanks. Pipe.jpg

I think it is the heater core pipe, it is metal pipe with a crimped fitting at one end that connects to normal rubber hose.

if it is like the 94/95 gt it is the heater cross over pipe I think it is called that goes to the heater core and back. Hopefully it is not like the 94/95 that is specific for that model year, known to leak at the orings and has never been reproduced. Now you can replace the orings on those pipes by carefully crimping the end so that the screw caps can come off and gain access to the orings to replace them. That and a new coat of paint is about as much as you can hope for on the 94/95 gt....

On my 96 V6 I just replaced it with a rubber hose from the outlet to the heater core.

The salvage yard is your cheapest bet or going to Ford and getting the part. At the salvage yard you're looking at maybe $5
