Help with backspacing/offset for wheels

hi guys, im looking to buy these, and i need to find out what will fit. Im looking for a comparable size to 17x9 03 cobra rims. (same back spacing)

if u want 17s, buy 17 x 9 in front and 17 x 10 in back b/c ur back wheels need to be atleast 10 or it'll be cunk in and look goofy... jus my .02

Well i have the 04' rear end, which is a bit wider than 94-98. I may go with 9.5 inch i the back, 9 inch in front.

my cousin has an 04' mach it had 9inch wheels out back and it looked dumb, cuz they were sunk in now he has 18X10 Fr500s and it is perfect

you're looking at the 114 x 3 bolt pattern, and I believe the offset is 25 - 35 mm.

I hope your going 18's?

Id like to get 17's so i can keep my brand new tires. So is the greater the number in offset the more it will stick out? In other words, 35mm will stick out 10mm more than 25mm? Thanks.

yes. and I would go with the wider on the back.
Maybe these?

Front: 17 x 9 5 x 114.3 +25
Rear: 17 x 9.5 5 x 114.3 +30

How much wider is the 04 axle?

Yeah i wasn't aware of the 04 widening in the rear??

Yes 99-04 is wider. I measured side be side.. 94 and 04. the 04 it sits out 1.5" total so .75" each side.
