So I have been to the junkyard today picked up 2 3rd brake light lenses. Last night I did my cars' lense and wet sanded with 600 grit then painted and the paint has leather-like creases in it and looks like shit in the light. My question is why is this happening? And can I remove the creases? I sanded all the paint off the one last night and the creases were like permanently embeded into the lense. Is this just bad error on my part or is this stuff just shitty quality?

Pic of what your talking about? Creases??? does it look more like orange peel in a new paint job? The vht does sand down easily w/ a super fine 1500 or 2000 grit. You can't apply the stuff very heavy from my personal experiece with it. I did several very light coats until I was happy w/ the color then cleared them.

that's weird, I did my brake light too and didn't turn out nothing like that. I did several very light coats a few min apart.

step one:

remove from car

step two:

mail to justin with a $20 spot

step three:

wait for it to return in the mail

easy three step process ;-)
