This is an easy fix... grab a can of WD40 that still has the little red straw. then take a really big hammer and hit it as hard as you can. problem solved... where'd the WD40 go you may ask? who cares... you had a really big hammer

Get a pioneer headunit with ipod support. Get the direct ipod hookup cable. Put all your cds onto ipod. Never use CDs again. CDs suck.

Or if you MUST use CDs get a good aftermarket unit that can play mp3 cds and just put like 200 songs on each cd and go that route.

X2 I'll never carry a cd again. Ipod rocks! Just make a bunch of playlists. you'll wreck trying to go through all the artists if you got as many as I do

Yeah well the newer headunits have a big scroll wheel that is just as fast as going through the ipod. I had the first gen unit also and that SUCKED since it took 100 years to get through even just the artist list. But like I said the new ones kick ASS!

I've had this problem too. Sometimes burned CDs will stick in the changer or sometimes I'll just get the disc error message. Various things work for me. If I have a stuck disc, I just use the old credit card trick. Stick the card in and slightly push the disc back and it usually pops right out. With the disc error/door stuck open thing, you can just turn the thing off and back on or if all else fails, unplugging the battery works 99% of the time.
