I recently bought a '01 Cobra and the rear gears where changed to 3.73 before I bought the car.. I notice there seems to be a lot of drivetrain "slop" so I'm wondering if maybe the diff wasn't shimmed properly when the gears were swapped. And by slop I mean that when I'm driving steady speed...

Here's a thread where I'm trying to determine if the aftermarket shifter is the cause of the "notchy" feeling of shifting. I have a feeling the clutch needs to be adjusted but haven't gotten to that yet.

I have an '01 Cobra that came with an aftermarket, unknown vendor, shifter and shifting is notchy, i.e. wants to "stop" in neutral between gears. Is this a function of the shifter or the transmission? I'm used to smoother shifting and wondering what the issue is. I don't want to buy a new...

I have a '01 Cobra and do not like the "partial" side scoops and would love to replace them with the "full" scoops but trying to figure out if there's a definitive model of the Mustang that had the "full" scoops. I did a Google search and looked at many pix and came up with the list below but...

So this happened to my BMW a week ago, so besides needing to change siggy pic, I'll probably be focusing my efforts on the Cobra. I was rear ended by a distracted driver in a Jeep, the car was totaled which I bought back because I have a ton of money and parts in the car and I should be able to recover much more than I bought the car back for. I'm OK, just a little depressed.
