I love my Pioneer in my truck so here is one for the car, it's a shame I don't have a battery in my car. I can't wait to see what the Mach one speakers sound like. Just a hunch they wont be enough, I'll let you know.

Nice. The only thing I dont like about the pioneer is the way you change tracks etc. The knob needs to be pressed in the direction you want to go. It makes it hard sometimes.

My Kenwood unit is like that, but I used the remote most of the time. I <3 my Kenwood. It's been in three of my cars, and I loved it so much I bought a second when they stopped making them. Flipped it to my sister who needed a radio for her bug.

Let's shift gears and talk speakers, I think I would like to put 6.5 component any suggestions. If i've read correctly they will fit in the doors and rear deck with the adapter plate. I'd like to stay between 150-200$'s, and there are a lot of choices; polk, infinity, boston acustics, jbl, fosgate, kicker, mtx. Any installers out there I'm used to subs however probably will not add the extra weight to this car, just good sound.

Except the exhaust

Scott (ttocs) and I are Installers. Are you going to be running a 4 channel amp with the speakers or no? 6.5 Components will work, but ask Scott or myself and we will say that if you want a quality soundstage, ditch the top mount design and go with a custom kicker panel.

No amp at first and I'll probably use the stock location for now. I just need more than stock.

Are you going to integrate the Mach amps or bypass? I can get you a pretty good deal on Infinity, Polk or Kicker speakers if ya want.

really no need to run new wires if you are not going to upgrade amps.

all the wire is there already if you know where to look.

Looks like spaghetti, I'm just trying to clean things up a bit.

not sure how you will clean things up by adding more spaghetti but hey, have at it.

I am gonna run a pheonix gold Ti elite 5-1 componant in the back of my car, but I will be running it in a band-pass attenuated state to not take away from the front soundstage. I am using those just to keep the speakers matched, and becase I have an extra set(doesn't everyone?).
