Hey guys exhaust pipe tips

I have the SLP cat back and tips

i have an o/r mid pipe and my engine is running a little funky but most of all i have a sort of carbon build up from the engine running to rich

so problem is a a carbon build up on my exhuast tips i guess, i will post pics tomorrow if no one knows what im talking about

i used a pressure washer ....didnt do to much

amror all allpurpose ...not any better (yeah i hate armor all)

the only thing that works is a clean towel finger nail and elbow grease....


should i use engine degreaser or carb cleaner or will that ruin the tips?....

SOS pad and warm water, trust me, they will look great in a matter of minutes and it will only cost you a couple bucks to get an entire box at the grocery store

SOS pads are made to clean pots without scratching, on steel like exhaust pipes it will be fine, just dont try aluminum surfaces

The SOS pads are a trick guys used to do all the time with the fox bodies and their tailpipes
