HID Issues

Ok so I got a VVME hid kit, i know not the best but i've seen quite a few of you guys running them with no issues, I ordered two kits because my buddy has a 2000 jetta and uses the same bulbs as our mustangs. Now heres the weird part when I hook everything up on the mustang the lights have no power the ballast's dont even humm like their getting power, now when I hook the same ballast and bulb up on my buddys jetta it works flawlessly, Anyone know what could be happening?

i'd think it must be the power source, however never having installed an HID kit I don't know how the power supply is.

yeah I got it working, one of the wires headlight wires had been cut when the motor was out and I didnt realize it. I traced the wires back and made the repair and its good as new now :dancing6:
