HIDDEN ANTENNA

GOOD AFTERNOON! DOES ANTONE OF YOU HAVE A HIDDEN ANTENNA? IF SO HOW WELL DOES IT WORK?

I think I seen on herer where somebody had shaved theirs. So I'm guessin it would have to be hidden. I believe I seen the car on the member rides section. Not sure how good it would work though, cuz I shortend mine and the reception wasn't as good! Looks great though.

My friend has one on his 68 camaro. It works, but not as well as a standard antenna would work. Everthing is line of sight with FM frequencies so if you put another thing between the antenna and the broadcasting station you'll be getting worse reception. With so many satelite radio's, Ipod's, and CD's out there I really doubt that you'd miss it.

I shaved my antenna.
the body shop guy somehow welded it inside the fender.
didn't notice any loss in reception.
