So on a rainy day while turning onto a 4 lane road a guy changed lanes, I fish tailed and saved it once but coming back the whole car was sliding and boom it went into the curb, Took a good chunk out of the rim, but everything else looked fine. I replaced the rim, the tire wasnt dammaged as far as I can tell it was just the rim. Anyway, I noticed today driving my steering wheel is alittle cockeyed and turning the wheel to the left it feels as if it could be rubbing but I cant tell. Could it be just my alignment is off?

Any idea would be great.

Couldve bent the tie rod, a arm, a number of things could be wrong. A bumpsteer kit isnt going to fix that.

until you try to get it aligned, you're just grasping at straws. take it to get aligned and they will be able to tell you if something is bent or not.

Exactly, Definitely get in aligned and that will tell you exactly what is going on there. Better safe then sorry to get it done professionally so you know nothing gets over looked. Someone overlooked mine and the ball joint snapped at about 45mph. That was a scary ride.

Yikes! Yea I wasnt going that fast 25 tops, I turned onto the road and this guy changed lanes last min. I turned sharper to avoid him which made it fishtail. Im hoping the ball joints are ok I guess I should of mentioned I have Steeda Suspension paks on the car too so its using the X2 Ball joints and from what I read they seem to hold up pretty well to abuse (hopefully). In all it could of been worse I could of totalled the car!

yeah it was definetely not cool, car dropped real bad on the right, grinned the ground affect, it was interesting to say the least. Steeda is definitely a great brand and they hold up really well. Glad your safe and of course the car is a plus that it is still good to go! More important though you are safe and sound!

Turns out that it was just the Rim that took the damage, they said there is some play in both inner tie rods but with 106,XXX miles on the car thats probably normal. they also said my Rack is leaking not sure if thats related or not but I can drive it for the summer and this gives me a project for winter. Im just happy nothing else was broke or completely F$#^ed :-D
