After I got my new cylinders put in in the process of raising/filling/lowering multiple times I figured I needed something to use to block the hole just while bleeding/filling system as factory plug is a bear. I took a new valve stem out of drawer and took cap off but not the inside valve. It had a big base to grip to push in snug. Worked like a dream! after was done I just switched it to the factory plug. I'd recommend not leaving the valve stem in as a plug but just for purpose mentioned. Also make sure the valve inside stem is tight and not loose. You need the stem cap off- use just the stem without the cap.
