You know with all wheel drive I am really disappointed that you were not able to carve your way through the pack safely. I mean in this case IMO its 110% driver err and I am pretty sure subaru would probably agree.

I did miss one, I did not see the one that I hit until its head was 3 feet from me as it was smashing into the windshield lol. Plus it was dark that does not help. Its hard to see those effers at night. Ended up with a Chevy Impala for a rental, it sucks balls. I'm so used to AWD and the handeling of an STI and brembo's. This things just a toilet.

yea I know I am just messing with ya. I have see those first one-two go off to see #3-#4 come out of no where. If you see one, slow waaaaaaay down and look for more. Like I said since doing all the work I have to my car and now moving back I have been paranoid as heck about them.

That sucks man! Sorry that happened to you. Stupid Deer!!!
We have deer around us and you can see them all year long. In fact I saw 12 today driving home from Lowes. I even had 3 of them sleeping in my backyard for 5days. They EAT everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you get it fixed soon and I am glad nobody was hurt. That would have been terrible.

Ouch, that must have been on big ass deer! I've had some close encounters in my car with deer on the backroads of PA, But when you're driving a shitty car... those deer know you won't think twice about nailing them and seem to get out of the way.

Hahaha

I love my Mustang but I've always secretly wanted an STI for winter driving....how does it handle in the snow?

I almost drilled a buck a few weeks back. It was rainin, I was in the stang, and with my abs broken the bastard started to run out in front of me and i was goin about 50mph lol. Locked those puppies up and slid to a halt. He ran as soon as I started slidin go figure.

That sucks tho man hope they can fix it cheap I love STI's. But did you hit the deer or did the deer hit you? Lol sounds dumb but being side damage it looks like the thing jumped into you. Happened to my cousin once damned thing jumped into the side of the car lol

some people dont go through insurance because they are afraid of premiums going up, getting dropped, or being forced to go to "this" bodyshop. I was just curious :)

No Ins company can make you go to any body shop. Deer collisions fall under a comp claim so its only costing me $100. Well woth putting a claim in for VS $4,000. If anyones ins company tried to force them to any body shop then I start looking for a new ins company and stop taking suggestions found on bathroom stall doors

4g isnt bad dude, could have been worse. And I like to let my insurance company recommend a place because then if i'm not happy with the work I can blame it on them lol.

any good body shop will warranty their work. The ins company wont take the hit for any shotty work it all falls back onto the body shop. Always a good idea to know of the good shops in the area

ive never made an insurance claim.... .... as i am an awesome driver... lol. so its all new to me, brotha.

haha lucky you. All depends on where you live as far as what you have to deal with for driving hazards. A lot of places have deer, but not many have good size deer that can do a significant amount of damage or kill people. Any accidents I have had have not been my fault other then two black ice incidnents but Ive never been off the road due to snow. Any of the others have been someone hitting me or deer running into me. Once they make the choice to cross the road it all comes down to a 50/50 shot of hitting one or not.

completely agree. I've had close calls with deers in the mountains. They hop out with no warning, so driver skill has nothing to do with it half the time.

Ive had 2 other deer run into the side of my car/truck before, both times it left just a minor dent. This was the first one to do a good amount of damage. Cant even count all the close calls Ive had with them before.
