holley stytemax II heads? any good?

how good are they, i found out that my last heads are going to need a lot of work and i may pick these up. what do you guys think? may better than windsor jrs?

well, i got them today. came with balanced, forged piston/rods shortblock (needs reassembly) and they were lightly ported. $1000 for all of it!
i'm taking them to the machine shop tomorrow and i am going to make sure all the valves are good and everything. then i will put them on tomorrow night!

yah, he had about 7k dollars in reciepts for everything (with intake, but he had already sold it). I think i'll build the shortblock this winter and save it for next summer.

They are very good heads...

I would put them in the ball park of a set of Edelbrock Performers.

Rebalance it.... just to be safe.

will do.

now question about the heads. i bought some valve stem seals and they look like these:

the heads didn't come with any seals on them, so would these be correct? they seem to be tight on there.
