Hot or Cold spark plugs???

with high compresion should i get colder spark plugs. right now i run a hot plug. also do i have to run 93 octaine ir will 83 make my motor ping. just some thing i want to clear up.

what comp ratio? i would suggest premium with a hotter plug... i would think...

10:1 or higher i suggest premium gas...

motorcraft sp505 ( agsf 22c) gapped at .048
they are 1 step colder and copper plugs.
Im running them in my 98 with PI swap and am very happy i spent the 1.70 each at orielly auto LOL.
