How do you pay for your expensive parts?

Just curious as to how everyone pays for their more expensive parts ( i.e. Short blocks, Heads, Paintjobs, etc).

May it be credit cards, loans, you save up your hard earned cash, or your rich. How do you do it?

i usually pay in cash. but will put it in the bank and pay with card when its online.

I save my money, then pay in cash... No point in using a CC and giving them more of my money in interest.

yeah, but a debt card draws money that you already have in your bank...no interest.

well when i get my 4.6 DOHC rebuilt here soon, the money will be coming from my dad when he sells our house..

that will be the first really expensive thing. the most i have spent is a thousand dollars and it was on my wheels. (i saved up for a few weeks.)

with the amount of money I pull for my car each week, it would take me 5 months to save 1k.

when I say cash, I use my bank account and my visa debt card...No one uses real CASH anymore. I just dont make debt, I own everything I have..NO LOANS.

Because right now i need money.. not much but an amount that can be paid back in time easily if used on a credit card.

My car stayed mostly stock until it was paid for. Then I took the money that went to Ford Motor credit and just starting sticking it in an account. My new car will be mostly stock for several year's also. There's always tax money though....
