How much RWHP is feasible?

How much will this thing handle? I remember reading that the rods start to go at 400hp. I put down 345 with a terrible tune and a 100 shot, so with a tune and a 125 shot I'll be damn close. Should I risk it?

That's the best news I've heard all day lol. I'll only have ~300hp n/a and its impossible to overrev with nitrous engaged with my setup so I should be alright.

you have zex right. i think thats what u said somewhere. pretty sure i read that. get 150 jets and tune it since it will only be like a 120 rwhp gain and get a tune then have fun.

Correct, my kit came with 75, 100, and 125 jets. Can I buy 150 jets seperately and use them with this kit?

you should be able to. im pretty sure u could just call summit or jegs and ask them for the jets. if im not mistaken i think u can get a 175 but id do 150 on zex or 125 on the kits rated rwhp on a stock motor.

I'd still make sure you have the money to build it if it goes. Mine blew with no power adders at about 94k miles.

Same here but it's still heartbreaking. Had to wait 2 months till I could build it. Not trying to pee on your fire just saying.

So in the event that it would implode, and I forge everything, how big a shot will this Teksid take?

Ive been reading alot on spray lately and alot of the NMCA, outlaw, and orsca guys run no more then 80% of their hp, so figure out your hp na or fi and go from there.

If you build it it'll take whatever shot you throw at it. Teksid blocks are known to be able to hit 1200hp.

you need to remember though that's on a properly balanced engine built by a true genius, and spray hits HARD its not like a s/c and turbo which will comeo n in the rpms
