Just like the title says, i plan on purchasing one soon, most likely a cobra, but before i do, i just want to know what to expect from these cars, such as common problems , if any....etc,

make sure you get one with a aluminun crossover on the intake if you get a GT. if not you will soon be swapping it, lol. that wa sthe first issue i ran into. and also know that these cars(cobra's aside) arent the fastest rides out there and take a little cash to get fast. other than that, they are an awesome car

Pretty much as reliable as any modern car that's been maintained.

my mustang has given me no problems what so ever, other than the ones that where my fault. routine maintenance is your best friend.

I had two with mine, that were not due to abuse on my part.

Cracked intake (not an issue for a Cobra)

And the thingy that makes the blower motor go at different speeds crapped out around 50k, so my blower only worked on high. Easy 10-15 dollar fix.

as far as actually breaking down and not running....that should never happen.

But stupid little things will break like with every other car.

how about the 94-95's ?

I would say the same.....very reliable if you can do little things to the car.

I kind of wish I would have gotten a 5.0.. o well

East Coast 5.0's 94 has over 250,000 miles on the stock block and still going. I'm not sure how much he's replaced but I think all the major pieces (pistons, rings, crank,) are original.
