how to remove PS pump and pulley

I'm building a motor for my 94 gt and want to clean and paint everything. I have it all apart except the power steering pump. I tried using a regular puller but didn't work. Next tried a allen wrench in the shaft, again nothing. Upon a closer look I saw threads inside the shaft. Are these used to remove the pump? My Haynes book says to get a special puller and installer. Does anyone have one of these or a part number so I can buy one?

You need the proper puller\re-installing tool or you will damage it, they are sold at Jegs etc, i got mine off e-bay, as you can see you cant get the bolts out of the pump with the pulley in the way.
Bit of a dumb idea imo.

Stan, you can buy the pulley remover/installer from Harbor Freight for super cheap.

I've used this kit successfully for years with no issues. They work even better if you have an impact wrench so your arms don't get tired getting it off.
