how to shave almost a 1/2 second?

ok guys this winter my budget is all going towards paint soo the motor wont be going in at spring time yet again :'( but i do have some extra cash soooo how can i get about a 1/2 second off my times im stuck in like a 13.5 1/4... i want to be at a 12 second pass i dont care if its 12.99 lol

i already have nitrous 80 shot
gear 4.30's
and drag radials on my welds


that seems to be all the easy/ biggest gains sooo?
this is for my 94 thats a auto
i have my upr uppers and lowers to go on and m/t et streets

what else can i do this winter to maybe help me hit the 12 second mark next year?

shift kit for the tranny or a higher stall, um, underdrive pulleys, intake, exhaust?

1/2 sec is alot. Gonna be hard to do without spending some money
-Reduce as much weight as possible
-Get a bigger shot of Nitrous
-Take out your headlight and move the intake in it's place

i would definately say get a high stall converter. a shift kit would also help a lot and maybe up the juice to a 150 shot. shouldnt cost too much for all of that and should get you where you want to be.

take out some extra weight like pass seat, rear seat, spare etc

175 shot of nitrous will do it(5.0s can take it, ive seeen 230 shots on 200k mile motors).

or HCI package, will do it for sure...

I would really think a stall and a shift kit would get you in that range with ease. Especialy with the new et streets. :santa_cool:

Cheap = bigger nos shot

safer ( probally ) getting a stall, I had a PERCISION Stallion 2800 in my 98Gt it worked great. Do some reasearch on them and you will find that it + a shit kit ( like the old school one from TRANS-GO ) can provide that half second your looking for.........pretty easy too I might add.

oh yeah forgot to mention it does have a shift kit but no stall...it was something i was wanting to look into anyways.....so if you think a stall will get me there it looks like i will head that way....

and my cars mods are what i listed with a shift kit that i forgot to mention
a off road h
flowmaster american thunder cat back
and a c&l meter/ CAI
....other then that its a 180k pure stock car...everything.. well the plugs were replaced but thats it lol

its in for major mods after this paint get finished up and i get the motor rolling again....then i shouldn't have many problems having a truely fast car but until then i want something thats not terribly slow either...what i can say is the car is deadly consistant...as most SLOW cars are :snow_laugh:
