Unfortunately you’d have to tear it down to find out.

All you have to do is ask it what type of cam it is.

but as logan said you will have to tear it down to find out its answer. I am also willing to bet if you posted a video of the sound on facebook you could get 10,000 opinions on what it is.

Use a flat pry bar and work it back and forth carefully and it will pop loose.

Have you tried a big rubber mallet and hitting all around??

I’ve never tried using a torch to break an intake loose but I’m almost curious if it would help. I’ve never seen one so stuck that you’d bend a tire iron.

Yeah get it out of the way. Even though it doesn’t go directly through the intake it’s hard to do it without damaging it.

Unfortunately heat will mess up the paint but it won’t mess up the metal. It will melt the permatex and you will be able to get it off.

Grab a friend. One person heat while other uses big flat bar to start separating and work your way around.

Sand the intake and repaint.

Problem solved.
