Its time for our bone stock 94 cobra vert to get a make over. For now I am only going to up grade the engine/driveline and supension. Here is a brief description of what I have thought might be a good combination to do.This car is our daily driver so I have tired to keep that in mind.It would be neat to get oppinons of the members here.
Engine/Driveline:
Until I can find a block to build I am going to check the motor in the car for any wear on the moving parts.I have done a compersion test and the numbers where good.So i figure I should do a inspection of the cam and lifters while I installing new gaskets.I am sure the cam has some friction wear and needing to be replaced.I would like to go with a 220/480 cam with new lifters. While cleaning and inspected the heads if the rockers need addressing I will stay with the 1.7 ratio.I am going to keep the factory intake but go with a 70mm thottle body using a cold air system. For the ignition system istall a aftermarket distributor possibly going with a MSD set up.I havnt given the exhaust system much thought other then elminating the smog pump since the car already has a Bassani setup.I have given it mush thought on installing a turbo kit instead of a super charger but havnt down enough reading to make a decsion.Until I am sure the car doesnt already have one I was going to install a aluminum driveshaft and change the rear end gears from 3.08's to 3.55's.
Suspension:
I am going to get the Eibach strut, shock and spring kit to lower the car 1.5 inchs. As well I am going to change out bushing and ball joints.I might install a tower brace but not sure yet.
We love to drive this everyday but we can tell its age and wear is coming to the surface.Hopefully I am thinking in the right direction for my first Mustang build.I am not out to set any records or try to be the baddest mustang.I just want our daily driver to enough umph to keep up with this newer generation of cars.
Thank you for reading my thoughts that keep bouncing around in my head.

FI on a daily driver is hit and miss. Just be aware, it adds a lot of stress on everything. So just adding a turbo or a s/c is usually not the case. A few other things need to be able to take the abuse, plus the tuning that is another issue all together.

Your plan is solid IMO. With a cam, your stock combo should be good for 300rwhp. As far as the cam, I have experience with the E303 which I have seen do 300 with your parts combo. But there are better choices out there. If your bottom end is good, just build what you have with a cam, some exhaust (headers to tips), and a tune. Should be a good/fun driver.
