Hey guys,

Well if everything goes ok I will be installing my V1 kit this month. Before I do I want to check my bolt on HP numbers. I tried searching but never really got what I wanted. I will list my bolt ons and what HP I think I will gain, I would like you guys to correct any that are low/high so I can gaet a reasonable idea of final HP after install. All gains are at wheels.
98 GT stock - 190 rwhp
FRPP shorties - 3 rwhp
Pypes catted ceramic X - 5 rwhp
FRPP cat back - 10 rwhp
PI Intake - 18rwhp
PProducts TB/Plenum - 5rwhp
Houston performance blower cams (295 series) - 15rwhp

PLease correct any that are wrong

Thanks

15whp on blower cams is probably less than your actual gain, each motor reacts differently towards the cams but at the least! you'll see 15 but you'll probably see more.

swap the x pipe and catback totals :)

I'd say more like 25-30rwhp for the cams even without boost and another 20 when boost is added.

I would go so far to say you are gaining 18hp through your exhaust mods. but zero for the catback. catbacks are not for HP, they are for getting a sound you like.

and do you have an auto, or a 5 speed?

if auto, i say 230-ish with all that. with a 5 speed, a little more, maybe 240-ish. 250 on a good day. need to get heads to compliment those cams and intake. heads are the restriction in your motor.

looks good...probably less for the pi intake, more for the blower cams, less for the catback, more for the exhaust...but overall there should be a solid 40-50 rwhp gain there atleast

with the blower you will see huge gains because of those cams and pi intake

Thank you, great responses. So I can safely assume I'll gain 40 hp to the wheels. I'll use Dalamars boost calc:

190 base HP + 40 gains = 230 rwhp
Boost = 10 lbs
10/14.7 = 0.680
0.680 +1 = 1.6802

230HP * 1.6802 = 386rwhp !

386 would be nice. I just dont want to go over v400 and blow up. Maybe I'll not cam it and try to get around 350HP. Any thoughts?
