I'm tired, its been a long day, so here are the cliff notes.

Today at the track, had a giant lake on the track, I melted a spark plug wire the other day and have a mismatched wire now, and I smacked my car into the wall hard enough to activate the fuel pump cutoff. So, near the end of the day I'm down to my last runs, car lost like all power. It wouldn't rev above like 4k, basically made a 2 step for itself. No idea if any of what I explained that happened earlier could be causes, or if its just a dead distributor or something. Drove home just fine as long as I didn't go above 3-4k, but yeah. Here's a quick video, rev to 5k was with half throttle so it revs out with partial throttle, after I floored it it instantly dropped down and did the moving around. Anyways I'm going to sleep now and hope there's some responses when I get back.

I might have had a similar thing you are describing. I put my foot into it one night through a light and not a block later I lost basically all my power. Feels like you're pressing way too hard on the gas and something feels very very wrong? Cars seems very unresposive and heavy?

Check the primary coil connection. Seemed to be the cause of my problems. Also check all the connection on the coil.

I assume you don't have cats on your car but if you do they could be clogged.

My cars cats clogged on one side and i could only rev it in park but in drive it wouldn't go over 3k.

Sounds like you had a rough day... A few beers and some friends should be able to solve your problem

Lol but no I really couldn't tell ya. The melted wire could be causing your issues tho I would for sure start with a fresh set of wires. Not sure how to tell if a dizzy is bad, I'm a little newer school when it comes to cars, but I'm sure other members could tell you if it's bad or not

Goodluck man, and hope that wall kiss didn't do too much damage

Haha, I was trying to tap the wall, the last one was just a bit hard. It's all in good fun so I'm not too concerned. I'm going to start with a fresh set of wires and see how that goes, I'm on the original coil wire because the set I'm using didn't come with a coil wire I could use with the silly ford coil adapter thing. And yeah, no cat's unless you count the weird header cat things, but I don't think that could cause it because I've got a huge exhaust leak on the flange on one side, unless it's the other one. Seems unlikely though.

You should be able to remove the adapter/connector thing from the old coil wire and put it on the new one. I don't even run with the connector thing anymore now that I have my MSD coil.

Check engines always on, EGR valve, only code there is I just tried pulling to see if there's anything new but nothing. Air bag light is my fault I think.

Swapped to an old coil, same thing. Ignition module tested out okay, going to throw some motorcraft wires on it when I get paid. I'm leaning towards the distributor right now since it's fine for a minute when I start it, then starts acting up. Kind of the same thing that happened when my last one went out, just a different way of doing it? Going to take my intake apart and clean the maf in the mean time as well. All that water at the track, maybe sucked some up or something. I'll get it sorted I'm sure, thanks for the responses so far guys :)

Dry out the distributor. Open it up, bet there's water or condensation in there.

That was the first thing I checked, cleaned it up today just to be sure. Cleaned the maf, messed with the intake a bit trying to relocate the filter sort of. Old one had a bit of water marking on it, but it's still acting the same. I'm leaning towards distributor. Ordered in a new one with a set of motorcraft wires, going to try the wires, then throw in the distributor. Yay warranty's!

Update, now that I've got internets at the new house.

Tested a new maf, nope. Tested all the sensors I could, nope. Tried a new cap, rotor, plugs, wires. Nope. Hooked up a fuel pressure gauge to it. 40psi at idle, 32psi on throttle. Err, okay. Took for a drive with the gauge to see what it did when it started breaking up. Pressure dropped off when it happened, up and down to like 15-20psi very erratic. Buddy had a friend who knew of a walbro 255 I could get through work for dirt cheap, so I now have a Focus SVT walbro 255 fuel pump, and a car that has more power then before thats running flawlessly.
