I filled up in town and drove an entire tank and filled up again in town.

It drove 115.5 miles. It took 8.9 gals, so I got 12.9 MPG.
I then drove 55.7 miles by hwy. It took 2.2 gals, so I got 25.3 MPG.

This is as good as I can do it! Driving 48 miles saved me $.20 a gallon, too. My town and buying gas does not go together!! See ya!!

I thought my city/town was going to be terrible! Like 9-10. I was more than happy when I got the almost 13. I knew it did pretty good on the hwy, for a V8 Mustang. It was all good enough for me!

How many MPG were you getting when you drove 48 miles to get gas? Take how many gallons of gas it cost to get there and back (if that was not a total) and subtract the 20 cents per gallon you saved and see how it works out. I would do it but I don't know what your MPG were during that trip.

I take it after the 55.7 hwy. miles you filled it again to get your fuel consumption?

Sorry, I don't understand what you want to know. I thought I typed it as clear as I could.

I drove the 48 miles and it was in the 55.7. It took 2.2 gallons to fill the tank back up. That part about the .20 cents was the difference on in town gas and out of town gas. It was 2.89/in town, 2.69/out of town.

Sorry I don't understand what you meant. It is not your fault at all!

Man, I thought my car was getting bad mileage at 15mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway, guess not :S.

EDIT: Well, another trip to the gas station and my mileage is up again, 18mpg in the city!! Im happy with that :).
