Just got off the phone with my old man. He was tell'n me that he was at the junk yard looking for some parts for his 83 5.0 vert. and there it was right next to a 96 V6 SN that was hit hard in the front no save'n it :angry7: It was a 1992 FOX 4cyl AT.... in all its flat black beauty, all there with no miss'n parts just the in take off the 4cyl so my dad goes up to the front and looks at the guy that runs the junk yard and says how much you want for tha lil FOX? You can have the motor and trans I want it for a race car......... the guys looks at my dad a strange way and says. You want the hole car? my dad goes yep its all there to, never been picked at. so now he has to call the junk yard on munday to see how much the guy wants. I cant wait i might have my full drag car. and have a 5.0 thats getting a 347 kit for it. man i cant wait. :headbang: :headbang:

no way man i put fords in fords and cheys in chevys..... pluss im a ford guy i would never do an LS1. but if it was Montecarllo i would do an LS1 in a haert beat.

thanks man i hope it to.. love FOXes and me and the old man are looking at a procharger or twin turbos we just dont know yet. i want my race car to be in the 9's or the 8's i know its going to take alot of work but i will be worth it in the end

347 stroker with a procharger would do the trick, along a built rear end and proper suspension mods of course

yep we have the rear and the 347 is in the works later this year i have to get the block out to the shop when i get home. i want to do a custom 4link. were putting a C6 with a B&M shift kit with 4.1o gears or a 4.56. the car is going to be race only. i might take her on the street a cuple of times just to play.

Oddly i've found that (locally here in so-cal) most S197 owners have no respect for older model Mustangs especially fox bodies. Apparently they like "their" mustangs.. just not the older ones :dontknow:
