I've had just about every factory Ford wheel on the Mustang so far (94 TriBars, 99 GT, 95 Cobra R), and now I can add a 94 Cobra wheel.

Bought this genuine Ford set this morning for $350. The wheels came with almost new BFG KDW2 tires. The plan is to use these wheels on the daily route, and to retire the Cobra R wheels for the track duty. I had two sets of Cobra Rs, but it turned out that my black replica wheels were a lot heavier than original ones, so I'm gonna remount the RA1s on the original wheels, and sell replicas.

i just picked up a set of those 99-01 stock GT 17" snowflake wheels for track duty, they weigh in at 21-22 lbs apiece. Ive heard the 94-95 Cobra wheels you have are pretty light too.

For the price you paid, you got new tires, and the wheels were free!!

Those tires cost 157 a piece new, which they pretty much are. So, it's more like, I bought two tires, got two free, and they threw in some wheels to mount them on.

I've always liked those as well! What size of tires are you running? I'm guessing the 255/40-17? I don't remember that middle #, though. Looks great!!

FYI, those aren't 94 Cobra... I think they were 96 or 97 Cobra wheels that had the dark insets.

Looks good though. I have my original wheels on my 95 Cobra. But they are in rough condition.

Yeah, I think they came off a 97. My fault, I screwed the year up.

Tires are 255/45/17

ya, free tires/wheels are always cool. I recently got a deal like that, I bought a 4" superlift kit and 33" dunlop radial mudders, Complete with RS9000 shocks, lift kit and tires installed on a 1988 Jeep Cherokee. for $800, I pretty much got the jeep for free.

I have those same tires (KDW 2), they work pretty well for almost anything, but they are kinda noisy. not that I care. Im running 275/35R18 in front and 295/35R18 rear

I have those on my daily driver. They're my favorite factory wheels ever, and they rule your whole face.

I think they did a tire breakdown in this month's Car & Driver, maybe. That was the only bad thing about the KDW 2's. I will buy them in that size you typed as soon as my KDW 1's wear out. I'm not worried @ all about the sound they make! I've got a convertible! Y'all think I will really hear my tires making a sound? Cause I don't. I just think that tread design rocks.

They look really sharp dude, i like them on the white a lot.

note: the wheels w/ the black between the spokes like yours are 96/97, the 94/95s had no black.

Time to go skirtless!

Is thinking it's a pain in the Arse to take off the side skirts. I have to paint mine and i was trying to be nice and get them off easily and i am second guessing all that now. :)
