I need you to check local auto yard...

Feel free to move this to the WTB section, just hoping to get more people here.....


I have gone to every auto yard in a 100 mile radius of me and have had no luck anywhere. I also went to an exhaust shop, they said to go to ford dealership, and they don't have any either. I need the 2 Rubber "O" Ring Hangers for the mid pipe, NOT the muffler hangers.

If you guys can go to your local junkyard and if you find me 2 of them, I will paypal you what they costed and shipping!! (shouldn't be that much)

if you can figure out the sizing (Outer diameter, inner diameter, thickness) you could probably order something comparable from mcmastercarr or parker

just look under your car at the midpipe, it's what holds it up to the car by the cross pipe in the middle of your car. all of your cars should have them...

yah it's not the ones like the muffler hangers.

Thanks man, it's worth a shot. It looks small, but I'll probably try it. Autozone has the same thing basically and it was really small and had no flex to it at all.

GM or Government motors as I call them lol . Used them for yrs. And older vw's used them to . Hope it helps...

Ive always used the tail pipe hanger style, thats all ive ever seen on our cars and ive had 7 of them

What are those? I been under my 97 and 95 GT many times and never seen that before.

Also sadly most of us have aftermarket midpipes that probably dont use that.

Might be something a previous owner added

yeah I'm going to try and use the ones for the tailpipes, I guess the guy before just found them and used them, they seriously fit perfectly though...lol.
