I hear that. once you put it all the hours into your car it really becomes a part of you and if something ever happens it's like losing a loved one. I restored a 65 Comet Cyclone and working on a frame off resto on a 57 t-Bird. If anything ever happened to either of those cars it would be absolutely devastating.
hell man, i have about 12 hours of actual work on my car, and i'd be devastated if i lost it.

Well yah any car that is yours if something happens to it would be devastating, including my POS Cobalt daily driver, just saying once you completely disassemble a car every nut and bolt and put it back together it's a little different. Atleast for me anyway.

i feel you there. that's kinda how i am with my guitar. rewired that thing so many times lol. it's to the point where she's more of a trophy than a guitar, which is a shame /: i hope i never let that happen to one of my cars in the future

Don't do it! If you don't drive it then why have it? Always been my motto. This guy that lost his Cobra even said the same thing. He only put 50 miles on it before it burnt down. This one he is going to drive and enjoy lol..

As long as it's not raining or snowing then it's game on as far as I'm concerned!
i'd found my dream car for that on cl a while back, can't find it now, of course, but it was a cobra drivetrain transplant into a mach1 body. THAT will be the no rain car :)

Even though we love them so much, in the end they are still just material items, unfortunately!
