Motor should be grounded to the chassis, the headers differ depending on how much power your looking to put down. As far as voltage, you could hook an ohm meter up to the positive off the alternator to check.

93 was hyper. 92 as the last year of forged

Half way through 92 they changed to hyperutectics. :icon_rr:

Yea Im not sure but I think they started with the forged in 88 or 89. They should have left them that way IMO.

Ford used forged pistons (TRW) in the mustang from 87 - mid 1992

They stopped using them because of cost.

Another thing i called a local mustang shop that deals only with mustangs and he told me that the 94-95 have alot of electical problems which would cause it to run like that. And i was wondering if that was true? And i plan to have a running video of it up on tube soon but for some reason it does not make since how good it runs at idle and being driven untill u try to get in it.It just feels so weak (scratches head)

wow... To generally say 94-95 mustangs have electrical problems....

Do yourself a favor and never go back to that shop.

The biggest question still remains.... Are they alum heads or not!? It's god awefully easy to tell the difference.... And if they are stock id take the car back because thats atleast a grand worth in parts and enough to make it not worth the buying price.

ya stop worrying about the headers and check the heads, or if its to hard to tell for some reason take a pic and post it and anyone on here can tell you what heads are on it. headers if your worried about that are easy to tell too. If coming from the engine each one in pinched in the middle and all rust color prob stock, but ive seen some old bbks that looks horrible and are not stock just take a pic

very hard to tell the heads in that video, just sounds kinda like a stock 5.0 with an e cam, personally if its the stock heads Id go back to the guy and demand my money back, as said before thats 1k+ for just TFS heads, just having the stockers would make it not worth the coin

there is nothing wrong with the hypereutectic pistons in the stock shortblock. anyone else tells you differently they do not know what they are talking about.

you originally asked if the temperature sensor would make it run like crap, absolutely BUT it depends on which one is not working. 87-93 cars there are two which im sure is the same on the 94-95 but the position might be different. fox motors the one for the temp gauge is near the #5 intake runner in the corner of the intake. there is a second one that is in the coolant tube from the water pump that goes to the heater core. that is the one the eec uses and if it is not working the car will be in warmup enrichment mode and would run like poop
