i want cup holders

i was wondering if its possible to swap in a center console from a 98 cobra into a 94 gt? if so how to take them out?

Personally, I would go for a 2001+ console. Those ones are nicer to look at(I think most of them have leather boots of the e-brake) and they have better cup holder that won't get hit when shifting to 2nd. Downside is that if your SN has a black interior, you need to paint the console.

mine is black and i can get one out of a wreck 98 cobra for free. how do you take them out?

1) Take the shift knob and shifter bezel off.
2) There should be two torx screw holding the console down.
3) Open the center console remove the two rubber bumpers for the lip and it should uncover 2 Phillips #2 head screws.
4) Unplug your cigarrette lighter and any other switches.
5) Pull the thing out, watch the ebrake. i find when the ebrake is up removal of the console is simple.

I think that about gives u a guideline as to wat to do. CHEers
