My car recently had a new fuel system put on it.

It included new fuel rails with 80lb injectors and new regulator. The car was tuned and everything is fine on the dyno.

The car made 500rwhp. The only problem is when the verhicle is cold the idle is really terrible. It idles at 550-700rpm's.

Like it wants to die out. It sounds like the computer si trying to find itself for some reason. Once the car is warm the idle is fine at 950-1,200rpm.

We tuned the car with an SCT tuner and the air/fuel is great. Its the idle that we can get figure out. Any suggestions?

you tuned that car with 80lb injectors!!!! HOLY SHIIT!!! But reguardless, your tuner should beable to get that back in check. look for any possible leaks post maf pre t/b and recheck it. Secure all vaccume lines when cold and recheck after.

if a/f is good then it shouldnt be a leak.

my car idles around 720 just as smooth as can be, but i dont have aftermarket cams, i'm assuming you do with that kind of horsepower. need more details on your setup, but it is most likely a tune problem, and a handheld programmer isnt going to do you any good getting it fixed.

Think I got it. Its the IAC Sensor Valve. I pulled the tube off the IAC sensor then pulled the plug inside the tube. Started up the car while cold and BAM..worked like a charm. The idle was perfect and dead on. Though when I put the plug back into the tube the idle changes and sounds like crap. I'm sure the IAC sensor valve is not regulating the air flow properly. I'm ordering a new IAC sensor tonight. Hope to have an update by the weekend. Thanks

i'm lost, what plug inside the tube? the tube shouldnt have any type of plug in it, unless its a check valve. take a picture, it would help. the IACs on 96+ cars rarely go bad is why i ask, hate for you to spend money on something for nothing.
