i was kinda iffy about this idea but now im pretty excited about it.. as you guys know i am getting my motor rebuilt! buttt i dont know if im going to have gearheads performance do it anymore..
maybe i can have my first build thread soon because my motor should be getting underway hopefully before the end of the year. im not setting my hopes to high but it may happen!
me, my dad, and his buddy thats been building race cars for almost 30 years is going to help us. he reallly knows what he is talking about when it comes to building engines and race cars and he is going to help us do the whole rebuild. i will be thinking about what my use for my car will be. i want to be able to turn the boost up on my supercharger once i get one on and not have to worry about it.. soo i will probably still go the forged route and the guy knows a few different shops that can machine my heads and block and all that. i will probably also be doing a mild port job and he will show me how to do that. so i am really excited. its going to definitely be a fun learning experience. he has a shop on his land with lifts and stuff so im not to worried about getting the engine out and all that.
its going to be fun! and ill know everything that goes on. sooo, hopefully you guys will let me have a little build thread of my own!
