I started sodering the wires together for the stereo harness to the adapting harness and noticed that there is a black ground wire in the adapting harness could I just cut the ground wire for the stereo harness and soder it to the addapting harness with the ground wire in it already? Also the blue remote out wire for the stereo would that go to this blue and white striped wire that goes to the adapting harness? Also there is alot of wires that arnt going to be connected is that alright??

if you look closely there should be two black wires, one with a white stripe that says "amp ground" on it. You will be find connecting the decks ground the solid black wires.

Where you connect the blue wire too will once again depend on if you are running a new remote wire or hoping that it works when you hook up the stock wire as discussed before

Hoping it works haha also im guessing that the extra wiring is what the RCA'a are going to be taking place of? Also the remote turn on for the amp is spliced into the solid blue wire in the car so would I then sodder the remote wire from the stereo to the solid blue wire of the adapter?

you will not need to use the amplifier inside the deck and that is what the extra wiring is. Make sure to insulate ALL unused wires...

Good job. make sure you turn the head unit on and check everything before you slide it into the dash. That will save you time if something should go awry.

I followed the wires from the lock and traced it back to a harness that is located right next to all the other harness's that were bundled together and caped off. The harness that the LOC was spliced into took over the harness can i just unplug the harness or should i remove the wires that are spliced and cap all of the old wires?

that is strange. Try disconnecting the rca's and see if it still does it. If you have a volt meter check each of the wires to make sure they read what they should. Yellow = 12v constant, red = 12v switched, orange = dimmer 8-12v, and also check to make sure that the ground wire goes through the hrns and has a factory wire on the other side. There was a ground clip shown in one of the pics and if you do not have the deck grounded it could be seeking ground through the ant which is probably what is happening.

I say its a ground problem. Double check that the ground wire you used doesn't have a white stripe on it(black with white) and double check to make sure that there is a wire on the factory side of the hrns that is a good ground.

Tried it without the RCA'S and it wasn't turning off then I noticed that the antenna wasn't plugged so I put it in and it went back to turning on and off

Tried a CD in the Stereo without the antenna hooked up Front speakers sounded fine but the Rear speakers only played bass and you could hear music but it was very quiet and drowned out by bass.
I also saw this in line with all the wiring I have no idea what it is. its hooked up with red and white wires that lead to the amp.

Like scott said, I'm pretty sure your ground is not hooked up right. find the ground wire and ground it.
Whats weird is the Stereo functioned perfectly fine as long as the antenna isnt hooked up, other than the fact that the rear speakers only play base

ah, well, funny enough this is where you will wish you had ran that wire I recomended.... That is a low-level trigger which is wired in so that when it "sees" an audio signal on some power wires it then creates a 12v trigger to turn the amp on. Since you disconnected the signal going to it I am suprised it is sending anything at all but it sounds as though your amp is not turning on completely/properly. To test this theory disconnect the wire going to the remote terminal on the amp. Turn on the radio, then take a piece/loop of wire and connect it from the +12v constant on the amp to the remote connection on the amp. If it turns on then you will now need to diagnose/find the factory remote turn on wire or run another wire right next to the rca's.

So the remote turn on wire runs all the way to the amp where it splices into these wires here. Can I just remove the LVT then attach the wire to some where on the amp?? Where would the remote turn on wire go?
