So I've had this Typhoon intake mani sitting in my floor for about 3-4 months now. With the track opening in about 3 weeks I figure its about time to put it on the car. I'm not sure what gasket I'll need for the lower intake though, would I be able to go buy a new stock one and use it? Or is there a specific one I should buy?

I've heard from a few people that the Fel-Pro MS93334 gasket kit for our stock intakes will not work. A buddy of mine said something about Fel-Pro 1250..

Oh...maybe it won't :dunno: I just assumed since it replaces the stock (and is supposed to line up) that it would use the same gasket..

I was thinking the same thing. I looked around on Advance Auto's website, they sell a gasket kit for the Edelbrock Performer for like $15. Its the same thing as the Typhoon, so I'll just buy it, lol.

and make sure to use RTV on the front and the back on the lower intake manifold instead of the
weak cork gaskets they usually come with. :thumb:

It depends on the port sizes on the intake. I use Fel-Pro 1250, 1262, or 1262R depending on which car it's going on.

It didnt come with gaskets? What heads are you running? I know the GT40X heads call out for a specific gasket set. If you got stock heads use the ones for the Edlebrock.
