I have a silly question about 4.6 intake manifolds. My question is could i put the intake manifold from a 4.6 truck onto my mustang? Generally the longer the runners the more low end torque they will produce (at least thats what i've read). My mustang is my daily driver and i rarely get above 4000 rpm, so if i were able to get a truck manifold with longer runners would i get more torque?

I know its a silly question but if anybody knows please indulge me.

Yes you can. It will not fit under a stock hood, you will have to make a custom CAI, figure out the TB and throttle cable, as well as all your sensors.

All in all you will have a little (read very little) extra torque. If your that worried about low end trq, buy a PI 5.4 (got mine complete for ~$500, and the PI intake adapter plates ~200. Bam. Low end trq with PI power.

Or just keep the truck mani on it..
