intercooler on vortech, who has them? Pics?

Anyone ever put an air to air intercooler on a vortech on a 96-98 cobra? We tried to do it on my friends 03 GT and couldnt get it to tune right. Also any pics?

I'm going home tonight so tomorrow ill take some pics for ya. I don't have a cobra, but a 97 GT. running vortech sq trim and paxton front mount.

Id really appreciate it man. Did u have any problems tuning it or any compressor surge? Is it a draw through or blow through setup and what bypass valve are you running?

Not a single problem tuning it, according to my tuner. I'm running a Lightning MAF (draw thru) and running a Vortech Mini Race bypass valve. I get no surge. Of course its supposed to rain all day here, but when it stops ill try to sneak out and snap a few pics for ya, if not definately tomorrow!

I have put a paxton air to air on a 98 vortech car. Had no proablems either. Running same setup as 97 stang. make sure blow off dumps back into the intake tube. That prevents alot of driveablilty proablems

Cool thanks guys. How hard was it to install the paxton IC? Did u have to move anythign from the front of the motor? And guys who have other Intercoolers what size are you running?

had to modify the power steering cooler a little bit and the foam backing on the bumper cover. but other then those two things went right in.
