interrior swap

I just bought a 98 gt and i was wondering if it is possible to swap just the center console out of a 01-04 car? I am new to the sn95 cars so i am still learning what can and cant be swapped. Any info would be great thanks.

I know the driveshaft "tunnel" is taller on the '99+ cars due to a design change to increase rear suspension travel but, I think your good to go with this swap.

all youll have to do is change the plugs to the 12v cigarette lighter and the fog light button, also you need to cut a lil piece on the center console in order to reuse your fog light button.

i did the interior swap on my 94

yeah thats my main complaint. guess if you want two drinks you have to go from first to third to fifth. lol engineers. to them everything looks good on paper.
